Bio
Currently as Sr. Project Manager and Associate with Desai/Nasr Consulting Engineers, Inc. (October 1997 through present). Formerly as Executive Manager and Treasurer with Alfred Kishek & Sons Canada Ltd., Windsor, Ontario (Apr. 1992 - Sept. 1997) and as Marwan Kishek Consulting Bureau, Ramallah, Palestine (Nov. 1986 - Nov. 1991). Since 1980, involved in Academia on a part time basis. Presently, acting as Adjunct Professor, Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan, and as Adjunct Professor, University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario.
Responsibilities include multi-project management, mentoring engineers at all levels on structural system choice and analysis, creative design of concrete and steel structures, state-of-the-art computer modeling, preparation of proposals and contract documents, and on structural investigations. Experience extends from design and management of multi-million dollars new projects to renovation and addition projects and covers Health Care, Institutional, and Recreational facilities as well as medium-rise office and residential buildings in addition to experience in water and earth retaining concrete structures.
